Any time is a good time to start or resume piano lessons.
If you wish you had continued piano lessons in your youth, you are welcome here. You probably remember more than you think you do!
I have taught successful adult beginning and returning students of all ages, including those who started their study as retired seniors!
Things to keep in mind:
Adult beginning piano students are different from those who learn to play as children.
Adult beginners usually pick up on music theory and music reading more easily, but may struggle with coordination and finger independence.
Each person is different, however. This just means you may need a different approach; one that highlights your strengths and addresses any weaknesses.
As with any piano study, you need to be patient as your skills develop. If you have a certain piece or style of music you want to play, it may take some time to get to that level. Be patient and you may surprise yourself with the music you can play!
